The Basic Mineral Makeup blog was started in 2008 as a forum to discuss or comment on interesting news and opinions about using natural, healthy makeup and cosmetics.  We promote only products that contain natural ingredients…no harmful ingredients and no harm to animals in their manufacturing… and generally focus on skin health and natural beauty products for skin care.

Everyone uses some personal care product every day…on their body, face, hair, eyes…and those of their children.
